Description: This picture was taken from my kayak, the lake was like a mirror.
The Mavora Lakes consist of two lakes named North Mavora and South Mavora.
Mavora Lakes are one of the treasures of Southland and part of Te Wahipounamu/South-West New Zealand World Heritage Area. They are situated amongst an impressive landscape of mountains, lakes, forest and tussock grassland.
