Lake Alexandrina in Autumn

Description: Lake Alexandrina (in Maori Whakatukumoana) lies in the Mackenzie Basin, just immediately to the west of the much larger Lake Tekapo. Lake has a small number of fisherman's huts clustered at each end of the lake. Autumn is lovely, ideal for a walk around the lake surrounded by golden willow and poplar trees.
