Deer Park Heights, filming site of Lord of the Rings, Queenstown, New Zealand

Description: View of Remarkables from Deer Park on Peninsula Hill. Unfortunately nowadays this place is closed to public. It was a popular spot not only for magical panoramic views, there were several filming sites for The Lord of the Rings movie, especially The Two Towers.
Here Gandalf rode towards Gondor, the refugees escaped from Rohan, the attack of the Wargs occurred, and Eowyn provided Aragorn with his 'tasty' stew.
