Kaka, Nestor meridionalis, Stewart Island, New Zealand

Description: Kaka is forest parrot and endemic to New Zealand. It is endangered species, his population is rapidly declining. However in Oban on Stewart Island is apparently thriving population. It is pleasure to see them playing in trees and shrub around township.
