Point Kean seal colony, Kaikoura, New Zealand

Description: A highlight of Kaikoura is the Point Kean seal colony, where visitors can walk among the seals. The reef off the coast is a major breeding site for fur seals and is busiest during the breeding season (November -February), however seals are present year-round, some choose to rest nearby the car park. And the whole experience can be adorned by panoramic view of Kaikoura Ranges.
