Description: Wellington International Airport (IATA: WLG) is located in the suburb of Rongotai. It is the major airport servicing Wellington and is a secondary hub and focus city for Air New Zealand.
Wellington is the third-busiest airport in New Zealand (after Auckland and Christchurch), with a total of 5.021 million passengers in 2008. The airport has links to major cities in eastern Australia and Fiji.
Air New Zealand has designed a special livery for the new aircraft as part of its ‘Crazy About Rugby’ campaign, with the A320′s color scheme evoking the colors of New Zealand’s famous national rugby team, the All Blacks(photo from March 2011).
